
this is the only murakami collection i'd not read until recently. kind of has a split EP thing going on with Shigesato Itoi, a person I'd only known from hobonichi notebooks and Earthbound/MOTHER. The surreal zany stories inside sort of keep Murakami from his well worn tropes, though there is stil a lot of lines worn into the earth going over jazz, cans of beer, and peculiar features of women. say 'fuzzy pickles!'
